America's Most Beautiful Cakes

After nearly a year, the America's Most Beautiful Cakes were brought to us. Only 200 accepted the invitation to create a showstopping design and only 24 won. Today I want to show you some of them and hope it can give you a good idea in designing you wedding cake.


This is one of my favourite wedding cake in the all America's Most Beautiful Cakes. It is a Gold-embossed fondant cake, $16 per slice, comes from City Sweets & Confections, New York. Deborah Lauren paired the luster of an Indian sari with a classic peony crafted from sugar. It actually the gold standard. Love it!!



This is a Fondant cake with hand-painted sugar-dough petals, $20 per slice, frome Sacred Sweets, Greenport, NY; stand, Versace for Rosenthal. It looks so amazing, we all have seen so many wedding cakes with a lot of flowers, but never thought about only one instead. It features a pretty peony and give a special look. May be memorable can be a purpose when designing your wedding cake.
