Thanksgiving Wedding Ideas

1. Use colors like red, gold, rust, burgundy, brown, tan, dark orange, and yellow. Add harvest vegetables such as corn, artichokes, gourds of all colors and sizes, and even a pumpkin to your reception table centerpieces.
2. For Thanksgiving Day, it's important to have a traditional Thanksgiving turkey roast as one of your menu choices so that people don't feel as though they've missed out on tradition by attending the event.

3. Do not serve a traditional Turkey dinner if your wedding is the weekend right after Thanksgiving. Not many people will want to eat more turkey so soon after. Instead, serve a marinated pork roast, mashed potatoes, honey glazed butternut squash, baby carrots, green beans, soup in a hollowed pumpkin, warm apple cider, pumpkin pie or apple pie.
4. Thanksgiving presents an entirely different set of circumstances. While you probably don't want to hold it on Thanksgiving Day, the Friday or Saturday after can be a great option.
